PMEL's Laboratory Review will be held at the NOAA Western Regional Center, Building 3 (Oceanographer Room #2104) in Seattle, WA March 3-5, 2020.

Laboratory science reviews are conducted every five years to evaluate the quality, relevance, and performance of research conducted in laboratories within NOAA's Office of Oceanic and Atmospheric Research (OAR). These science reviews are intended to ensure that lab research is link to the NOAA Strategic Plan, is relevant to NOAA’s research mission and priorities, is of high quality, and is carried out with a high level of performance. They also help to strategically position the lab in planning of future science. This review will cover research conducted by the Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory with a focus on the years since the 2014 lab review
