This file originated at NOAA/Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory (PMEL), but the data come from JAMSTEC. Included in this file are sea temperatures from the surface to 750 meters, salinity, density (sigma-t and sigma-theta), and electrical conductivity from the surface to 750 meters, sea currents at 10m depth, and a variety of surface observations including winds, air temperature, relative humidity, shortwave solar radiation, and barometric pressure. Buoy positions are also included as time series of latitude and longitude. Note that sigma-theta is computed from TRITON hourly temperatures and salinity at NOAA/PMEL. After 2007, the sites at 1.5S,90E and 5S,95E, no longer deployed TRITON buoys but instead use mTRITON (mini TRITON). 8S,95E has only had mTRITON deployments. mTRITON buoys have temperatures to 500 meters, and salinity, density, and conductivity to 60 meters. Differences in the height of meteorlogical instruments for TRITON versus mTRITON which are 1 meter or less have been ignored, and TRITON heights used at all times. At 8S,95E only mTRITON heights are used. Similarly, the depth of the Sea Surface Temperature (SST) sensor is 1.5 meters for TRITON but 1 meter for mTRITON. SST depth is set to 1.5m at all times in files for 1.5S,90E and 5S,95E, but 1m at 8S,95E.\n\ncdm_data_type = TimeSeries\nVARIABLES:\nwmo_platform_code\nsite_code (mooring site code)\ntime (seconds since 1970-01-01T00:00:00Z)\nlatitude (Latitude of each location, degrees_north)\nlongitude (Longitude of each location, degrees_east)\ndepth (Depth of each measurement, m)\nTEMP (temperature, degree_Celsius)\nTEMP_QC (quality flag)\nTEMP_DM (method of data processing)\n https://data.pmel.noaa.gov/generic/erddap/metadata/fgdc/xml/triton_hourly_temp_fgdc.xml https://data.pmel.noaa.gov/generic/erddap/metadata/iso19115/xml/triton_hourly_temp_iso19115.xml https://data.pmel.noaa.gov/generic/erddap/info/triton_hourly_temp/index.htmlTable https://www.pmel.noaa.gov/ (external link) https://data.pmel.noaa.gov/generic/erddap/rss/triton_hourly_temp.rss https://data.pmel.noaa.gov/generic/erddap/subscriptions/add.html?datasetID=triton_hourly_temp&showErrors=false&email= JAMSTEC and NOAA/PMEL triton_hourly_temp
